Safety Bay is a popular spot for families, renowned for its child-safe, sheltered beach. A boat ramp, jetty and yacht club are located in the Safety Bay Foreshore Reserve.

Flat water combined with afternoon strong winds ensures The Pond is home to many of the world’s kitesurfing professionals.
